What’s New? 5/16/2026


 Hi friends! 

Some of you know I have been toying with making caramels, but as per my usual style, I can’t just keep it simple. 

I’ve been working to perfect an espresso caramel chew. I have nailed the flavor down, but I am currently still working to straighten out the texture consistency. 

I am a perfectionist and I am my biggest critic. You may hear me brag about things like I am an egotistical maniac, but really, if you knew the money and the effort that went into perfecting each thing I make, you’d understand that it isn’t an ego brag, it’s more of an “omg! I finally did it!” Brag. I work hard and I crash hard when it comes to a lot of things. 

These caramels are going to be the death of me. I want them to be amazing and something you can only get from me, because the flavor burst and happiness that stems from tasting them. 

Maybe it’s nostalgia of a time past, or an excitement for a future unknown, but I love sharing the things I make. But I also appreciate the people who purchase and keep me motivated to continue moving forward with my baked goods and candies. 

Next weekend, all orders that are placed with receive a trial chocolate that I will be making. It’ll be a rose infused dark chocolate candy. Dairy free. I am so excited to make these that I don’t even think you can begin to understand my thought process on this. 

Rose chocolate. Romantic. Sexy. Delicious. Melts in your mouth. May give you hope for a better romantic future. Who knows? 

I still make sourdough. I haven’t had many orders for sourdough in the last month or so, but I am still trying out new flavors and having fun with it, although much less than previous experience. 

I want you all to know that each week I will be bringing in goodies for sale. The items that I bring in pre-packaged will be priced but all proceeds of items will go towards the standing straight missions trip I will be joining in October. Money will go towards my stay in India and the foundation itself. I am not sure the cost it’ll be for me in India the week of the mission, but I’ll be using the payments from impromptu sales for that. I will be in India for 2 weeks in October, missions in Punjab, then I plan to explore through other areas. I have a very strong desire to visit Mumbai, so I’ll probably head there from Punjab after the missions trip, exploring new flavors and finding new ideas for my bakery.

 Goodness! Hi! It’s been a while. I’ve been super extra busy at work, so I haven’t been able to post what’s news  Many of you already know I’ve been toying with caramels and perfecting the texture so I can sell them to everyone.   I heard a coworker (Rhonda! I’m talking about you!) talking to someone about something she had, and she spouted off 3 flavors. Coffee, almond, and mocha. I thought “hm. I bet I can make a coffee flavored caramel candy!” It was only a failure in texture. The flavor was insanely delicious! This weekend, I’ll be making 2 batches and sharing samples with people who purchase anything from my menu.  Look for the coffee caramel filled cupcakes in the very near future. (thanks for this idea Craigbert!)  I will have bags available for $8/bag. 10pieces. What’s New?! 4/19

    Happy Weekend Friends!  New additions to the menu are fun and interesting! I have added new options for ordering, to fix the lack of ability in ordering multiple of the same loaves. I have created a few new food options, and I am so excited to share with you!! I made  Vanilla Cupcakes with Caramel Buttercream Frosting  and drizzled caramel on top, finished with a sprinkle of sea salt flakes.  I have added these to the menu, and have gotten much better with frosting the cupcakes. It’s been a struggle for me. My art is in the flavor, not the design. It’s a thing. Anyway! You will be able to find these cupcakes in 3 packs, or by the dozen. You can also order a normal size cupcake, or 6 normal size cupcakes, or a dozen normal size cupcakes. Do, check the order form!  These cupcakes are rich in flavor, but not too crazy sweet. I know.
